This is a list of known common problems with this machine...
Broken Plastics: Whirlpool plastic and slingshots
Broken Targets: The green 'No Way Out' targets are straight ahead of the flippers and take a real bashing. Repeated pummelling can eventually cause damage to the ramp entrances behind.
Playfield Wear: The most likely point of wear is where the Lost Mine kicks out the ball onto the playfield - the exact location of this will differ from game to game but is usually above the left flipper somewhere in a diagonal line betwwen the Mine and the right flipper. On a really bad example (perhaps where a rusty ball has been used) there may well be a long line of wear down this diagonal.
Missing Waterfall: The extra height on the the game due to the Whitewater Backbox topper meant many operators either removed, damaged, or didn't purchase it. As a collector - you want to make sure you get one including it's protective plastic dome.
Big Foot: He should be able to rotate and stop in both directions - ensure you run the Big Foot test from the Test Menu.
Faded Cabinet: Whitewater is another game likely to suffer from fading especially to the dark blue.
