This is a list of known common problems with this machine...

The three "hot dog" shaped blue plastic inserts above the Mission inserts in center of playfield often have thin cracks in them. This is a widespread problem with Star Trek games, and exists on most machines.

The design of the wiring loom to the gun turrets mean the wires to the turret frequently break, sometimes along their length - the only way to detect this is to check each wire individually to the backbox, even then the problem may be intermittent and the only solution is to replace the loom.

All three ramps suffer damage to the entrance - especially the Alpha Ramp - best soltion is to install ramp protectors.

Both sink holes (Neutral Zone, Command Decision, Lock) are often badly worn. Best solution is to install protectors.

The under playfield ramp collecting balls from the Neutral Zone is often broken immeditaly underneath the sink hole.

The under playfield ramps that collects ball into the gun turrets have cracks in them. This is also a common problem with Star Trek games, and is found on nearly every game.

Opto issues (Too many of them in this game!)

Neutral Zone target smashed.

Weak Launcher coil due to dirty coil sleeve

Misaligned launch wire form ramp (minor)

And last but not least, DIRTY UNDERSIDE RAMPS!
